My two best 13'' females were stolen tonight out of my dog box. Go into the store after a nights run and they are gone when I get out. What is this world coming to....I am just sick. A person sure can have years of work gone in a flash.

Sorry to hear that… what kind of store was it? If it was a Wal-Mart or your average gas station, I would ask them to check their security cameras. If they have them, some usually erase them after 48 hours. Or even a store next door to where you stopped… just a thought. Good Luck

akc, to my knowledge isn't going to a single registration unless the dogs are no longer intact or if you can prove akc ancestry through another registry..... does someone almost no good to steal a dog for that reason...
And trust me, I have been on the phone with them the last month trying to get a dog registered
Sorry about your dogs, I have had dogs taken from my kennel before...another possibility is some anti hunter lunatic

It was like a smal mall parkinglot. My cell phone broke so I had to go to the apple store to get it replaced. North side of Indianapolis. Never been to that part of town before. I did call and there are no security Cameras. It just discusses me, but there is really nothing a person can do??

Used to be in this area that any dog wondering the street would get nabbed up by what we figured were people selling them for a few bucks for lab dogs. My cousin had numerous house and yard dogs stolen that happened to get down to the highway. I think with the economy the way it is that guys will need to lock their stuff up whenever it is where these culprits can make off with it. I almost never used to lock my vehicle when I ran into the store or paid for gas but now I almost always DO.

Hope you get them back Matt. They were stealing them out of kennels around here last year. They got several from my neighbor then went across town and stole a bunch of rabbits from an old lady. I just dont get people today.

Matt, my heart goes out for you. Its sad to say the least when this is what someones life comes down to, having to steal a dog! About 15 yrs back, I came home to empty kennels... Days later I found out a person saw numbers painted on my dogs, and thought they were used for dog fighting and "rescued" them. One of those dogs was Syris.. I hope you find a happy ending to this sick mess. If there is anything, I or anyone on this board can do, just please yell!
