Car sick

I have a 6month old female that gets really sick whem I haul her around. Any advice to help her out? Thanks

The only thing i can think of is just keep hauling her around eventually she will get use to it...my yooung dogs got sick at first but they got use to eventually... Thats best thing i can think of... Good Luck

yep that is all you can do just keep hauling her around i had a pup that was about 6 months and ever time i would put her in the box and got to were i was going she pooped all over and throw up it took a good month and then she was fine good luck

Every dog I've ever owned got sick in the box at that age. Keep haulin her she'll be fine

Some dogs get over it. And some dogs don't. I've seen dogs that get sick anytime they travel more then just a couple miles and it continued through adulthood.

I only had one dog out of all mine get sick in car. I would give her half a dramamine before every trip. She eventually got over it.

Got an 11 year old male that always gets car sick. Its alot worse on those longer drives.

I've found it helps to have them sleep in the dog box in their pen and get used to the box.
Next is to always close the tailgate so they can't see things going by or the road slipping under them.

that is a good point john keep the tailgate closed when you are starting off with a young pup i am guessing you are putting it in a dog box

Yes, Brad.

Like the picture of those 8-9 great looking dogs standing between the dog box and the tailgate, I would pull that dog box with the metal piece doors closer to the tailgate, say within 4-6 inches so when the tailgate is closed, all the dogs would see looking out the dog box doors slats is painted metal, not the telephone poles or anything moving.

Heck, it makes me sickly to ride backward too!
