After a 6 1/2 month battle with a lung disease (due to aspirating a foreign object) we had to put down a fine hunting dog. While her attributes as a field trialing dog never measured up to her littermate sister Emmy, there was never a doubt that Fern was a hard hunting brush dog with the drive, desire, and tenacity to find, flush out, and oftentimes catch a rabbit! In the end, she became a great little house dog who was very grateful for the love and care she received. May this brave dog, who is so sorely missed, finally rest in peace!

Bob & Sharon sorry to hear about Fern. I know how much she ment to you both. There is a reason for all happinings. Hopefully something good is in the future to ease the loss of a good buddy.
