Its been a couple of years now that rabbit fever has invited me up for a hare hunt. This has always been something that I wanted to try. I wanted the full experience and I sure got it. Things just worked out for me this season and I was able to go. We made the plans and set the date, it all went pretty smooth. To share the whole experience with me was board member jumpNrun (derek). I set out about 7am picked up derek and we rolled out for the long drive way up north. We arrived about 8:30pm that same day. Now thats a drive....lol

If you are wondering what I thought about the entire experiece I'd have to say it was way more different than I had ever expected it to be. I have alot of respect for what the Northern Beaglers go through when they go hare hunting. All I can say is You have NO idea untill you try it. Sure you can go when there isn't any snow in late september and I'm sure it would be an awesome time. Nope I wanted the full experience. We were trudging though 2ft of snow the entire time. Driving down snow covered roads where a 4WD truck is a must. They put us in some thick pines and popple when wearing snowshoes and walking through that made it very tough. This was also the first time I had ever wore a pair of snowshoes. I didn't do to bad with them but I did fall a few times, I almost started to hate them there towards the end..lol

I thank you Tom (rabbit fever) for giving me the opportunity to try SnowShoe hare Hunting. It was also nice meeting your buddy Clint. I even got to meet Harehound (marty) and chad. You guys were great, wish we could of spent a little more time together.

I was able to get lots of great pictures and also some amazing video footage that I hope you all enjoy. I spent some time on my video of the hare hunt. Hope you watch it.

Nice to see the deep white stuff, we've been cheated this year with hardly any......

Very cool Joey, It is definatley a different type of hunting. I remember my first cottontail hunt, whole diferent venue. The best thing is that you get to hear hounds in both types. How did your dogs do in the deep snow? Did you take any of it back to Missouri, LOL!!! :D

this is what happened

Bandwidth Exceeded (Look Who's Popular)

Published 09/12/2011 03:40 PM | Updated 02/02/2012 09:51 AM

All of my linked Photobucket photos and videos have been replaced with this thing:

What does it mean, and how do I get my photos back?

Don't panic, and don't delete anything! Please, let us explain.

Bandwidth is the total amount of data transferred from your Photobucket account to the sites you post photos and videos on. It's kind of like the data plan on your phone. If you have a free account, you can use up to 10GB of bandwidth per month.

Imagine you have a photo that is 1MB in size, and you post it on your blog. Whenever a friend sees your blog, 1MB of data is transferred from your Photobucket account. That counts toward your 10GB per month limit (10GB = 10,000MB, and most photos are much smaller than 1MB).

Now, imagine your blog has a lot of photos on it, and their total size is 5MB. That would mean that 2,000 blog views would max out the bandwidth on your free Photobucket account. If you're linking multiple photos in multiple places, or you post photos on a popular site, your bandwidth can add up pretty fast!

If you're not sure which of your files is using up your bandwidth, take a look at your Account Stats.

There are two ways to get your linked photos and videos to show up again:
1.Wait until your cycle date. Your bandwidth limit resets every month on the date you created your account. Check your Account Status page to find out when your cycle date is and how much bandwidth you've used since your last cycle date.
2.Go Pro. Pro accounts have no bandwidth limit, no ads, and full-size photo storage. You'll love it!
