Just curious. I here Guys speed rate their dogs all the time. Most say 7 to 8.
What would you consider the speed of your dogs. Like to see other opinions too.

Speed I would say 5 at best. Very clean running dogs. They do a great job at keeping the track going. You could kill alot of rabbit over these hounds!

I say they are a 4 on speed. Nice dogs and yes you can shoot a boat load of rabbits over them but they are just not my type of dog. Not nocking them at all. I've seen some of Marks videos with footier dogs, these look a bit slower. I like seeing the vids, you get to see what type dogs peoplte are running from defferent regions. Excellent Cottontail darting and backtracking rabbits that wide dogs would have a hard time with.
I like the black and Tan best, running and mouth too.
Enjoy them!

Definetly.have line control but what bout da extra mouth and not moving forward while day are barking I call dat mouth and i cull dogs for dat!! I believe day shldnt be barking unless day can move da rabbit!!! Alot of barking but not moving much I gess dats y we all like different stuff. up here in da north country u wld frezze ta death hunting over dem hounds!! JMHO

Keep the videos coming Mark. It is deer season here in Missouri and this is as close to
running hounds as I can get for a few weeks. You and harehound get some great clips
of your hounds running.

I had a spot where I could train pups and video them 2 blocks from my house... the
old man that owned it passed away and his kids sold it to a developer and now they
are building houses on it.
