I just found out a few days ago that BUCK as everbody around here knows him his AKC name was "JTS BEEFHIDE CREEK BEN" has passed away i really hate to here it even though BUCK was gettin old he was still to young to die. i remember the first time i ever seen BUCK run i was at a little pack trial at park city and i didnt know much about him at first but at the end of that hour i had one thing on my mind and that was owning this impressive hound not only did he win by dominating the cast but he also had 4 jump strikes in this hour and checked them to death,he ran the front just about the whole time with accuracy.i saved 1000.00 dollars and went back to a trial that i knew MR.PETERS was gonna be at i offered him the money and he of corse turned me down.then a friend of mine went and bread a female to BUCK and i got a male out of that cross i named BONKERS he was a jumpin machine and could fly i sold him to a guy in tenn. for 1.500 dollars and have regreted it ever since.BUCK has impressed me ever time i seen him run a friend of mine wanted to breed two of his females to my ANDY male which is the best dog i have ever owend i thought so much of BUCK that i told him we should breed one of them to BUCK so i called MR.PETERS and told him he said just come get him and keep him till your female gets ready so i did we bread them. so thanks to MR.PETERS me and my buddy made the last cross out of BUCK ...........THANKS AGAIN MR. PETERS

Buck was always a tough dog to beat in a cast. His owner, Mr. Peters is a first class gentleman. One of the things I look forward to most every year at the World Hunt is the chance to visit with him.
The story about Jeff Haynes coming out to run with Mr. Peters is one of my all time favorite hound stories. I heard the story from both at different times and they both said the same thing. Jeff kept dumping fresh hounds out on Buck all day and at the end of the day Buck was leading the pack around like he had just been turned loose. That old man and his dog were one tough combination in the coal mines.

I would like to say thanks to two people. One to Mr Peters for giving me the opportunity to breed my femaie to a dog like ( BUCK). With this opportunity i got (11) pups out of him. Not knowing it would be his last. I kept three of them and give one to a buddy of CHARLES PUCKETT for setting it up for me with Mr Peters. So thanks to the both of them for this opportunity. And long live BUCK in them puppies.... RIP BUCK and thanks.
