Is anybody still breeding beagles with bawl mouths like coonhounds?

Love those bawl mouths. I get mine running down in a big holler. Wow! Talk bout rockin some timber!

Had a guy tell me onetime a chop mouth can run faster than a bawl mouth. I own both kinds, but my reply was your crazier than !

Im from kentucky. He's my main muscle...... 3 1/2 yrs old. 15 inches does it all really well. Bout a 7 1/2 ON SPEED. Pretty strong runner and a all around great hound. Thought I share some pics of 10 month and under pups out of this bloodline. yes my hounds are all linebread weir creek and run a strong 7 on speed with hunt hunt hunt. First is a female last 2 are males. All are going to be 14 to 15 inches.

Anybody who has run with Cedar Groves Talkabout Blackjack will tell you he has a huge bawl mouth that sounds like a coonhound.

Very nice. Most any houndsman would enjoy listening to a hound that can sing like that. Looks like they got plenty of nose to. Not many that can pull scent of a rabbit off crushed rock and railroad ties. My bet is they could handle 18" of dry powder on a January day at -20° F too based on that last clip.

Thanks everybody. Looks like I will need to take a trip to Ky to see some of these dogs run.

Blackjack is already on my list to breed to but I know he is getting up there in age.

What type of running style does Blackjack have, head down or head up? I owned a female out of Riley's Macon Ridge Tipper. She was a great dog and I am considering breeding to Blackjack hoping to get similar traits. Do you have any video of him running?
