3 months, she disappeared at 5 months old and she was jumping and tracking real good. Could have killed a Indiana limit if it was season.

Waddle's Blooming Pixie. Circling a rabbit at 5 months solo. Lost her to a coyote just shy of 7 months. Miss her every time I go out to the kennel.

I think it was Feb.19 of 1996 I had 11 puppies in two litters. 10 days after they had their 3rd shot I put them in the running pen. By 2nd week in June they were all running rabbit, from that time on I knew what bloodline I wanted to stay with. I'd never had complete litters with no failures before, usually if I'd gotten 2 or 3 good ones that was average expectations. I'd never seen bold puppies consumed with desire to hunt from the get-go in such a high percentage.

I had a Boldstroke pup out of Gill's Elsie dog, circled rabbits at 8 weeks old when I bought him. Don't know how soon he started. Best dog I ever had.
Thanks,
Bob

6-7 weeks is not unusual for Norwester and I's pups..does it matter what the end product will be? I don't think so but sure is fun the watch..LOL Here is a video of 9 week old pups running on wild hare.
