Star was a great running dog in her prime; fast & clean w/ a fast chop. She was built really straight & strong about 14" ; open marked w/ a nice, blocky, houndy head. I bred her to near FC BJ's Fudd twice, IFC Riley's Rolling Trails, FC Main Event's Showtime & IFC Green Bay Shooter twice. She was the dam of my favorite, Valentine. Star was the Mid-West Fed. All-Age Top Dam in 2011. I sold her to Daniel Ross in Miss. the year she won top dam. She is still doing well at 10 years old now.

Here is a current picture of Star now Greg. She is built like a bulldog. We are hoping to get her bred to one of our 2 direct sons of Brent's Primetime.

The ability & talent that her sire & dam had has been brought to light through a few of her pups. I'm glad some of them went to great homes. Star is a happy, aggressive hound with a good personality. I have a nice picture of her when she was young. I'll try to post it later. She is really put together well & I grew to love the open tri-colored/ticked hounds because of her mother Silver Spring. She was as close to a perfect hound as I will ever see! She was open marked & ticked & so was her littermate, IFC Stoney Hills Gator.

The guy that owns Wango Tango in Michigan has a female out of Wells Woods Venus & Tango. Venus was by Trails & Star; littermate to yours.

This is our littermate to Venus that we just purchased. Had been set up a while and trying to get him back on target. His name is Slate Creek Bunny Buster.

Nice looking dog. To be honest, the only pup that I had a good report from in that litter was Venus; although a couple never got a chance by the people that got them. They didn't hunt them much. I saw a couple that were nice looking, but just weren't as good as I had hoped. The best pup from Star was probably Valentine by BJ's Fudd. Star only raised 4 or 5 pups total by Fudd in two litters. The Showtime cross hit pretty well, but the two I saw were a little too high strung for the Mid-West, all though Silver Dove owned by Marvin Strange has two licensed wins. The first cross with Shooter produced crap, but I tried it again anyway & there are several pups in the second litter that turned out well from what I hear. I don't know exactly what she was bred to in Miss.. I think Satsuma & Viagra stuff. Did you get any pups from her & your Prime Time male? I wish I had tried that with her.
