I have a dc 40 that when you turn on about the time It connects to handheld it will shut back off. Have ran updates an replaced battery. Anybody ever had similar problem an what was the fix short of sending in to garmin.

Did you call Garmin there product support number is 800-800-1020 ask them and see what they say.
