I'm searching for something directly out of Slim Jim or as close as possible. I'm not even sure if the actually Northway kennel still exists. I know there is Dexter in Ky that has hounds that goes back to Driver and Spur. Reason I am searching for Slim Jim breed hounds is my two best dogs are a Branko/Northway cross and Slim Jim is the closest Northway dog in their pedigree. I'd like to try and keep that as close as possible. Any information will help, and thanks in advance.

paul kormorny advertises in better beagling magazine. I haven't seen his ads in the last couple of months but northway is still breeding hounds.

I have had the opportunity to hunt over FC Louie's Come Back Chewy (FC Northway Slim Jim x Hemlock Hill Blue Belle), owned by Louis Burger Jr. He is a fine hound and I believe is still in Pennsylvania with louie. Best way to get ahold of him is to contact Josh Herring.

Hi Ryan , Good hound to mention. The run to catch style discussed here occassionally , Chewy would be the poster hound for. In his prime , He talked the talk and walked the walk. Have seen him dominate several packs and flat out catch the rabbit.

Louie brung Chewy done to NC when him and Charlie Flexer was working on some rabbit pens here. Chewy was getting older but still was impressive. His dam I think won the NLPC.

NC is probably a bit to far away. Was hoping something that was close enough to make a trip in one day.
