OHBC--Jackson, OH 11/19 & 11/20 PKC Hunts

The Oak Hill Beagle Club in Jackson, Ohio invites beaglers to join us for two days of hunts. We will be holding two PKC Hound and Hunter hunts on Saturday, November 19 and one on Sunday, November 20. The forecast is for great weather and we look forward to a good time in the field with friends old and new. At our last hunts in October everyone had a great time and we had some good running. If you have thought about trying PKC hunts, this would be a great chance to come out and see what it is all about. This is youth hunting season so you must wear blaze orange in the field.

You can register your dog the day of the hunt for $15.00. The club is adding $100 for the 2nd hunt Saturday and $100 for the Sunday hunt. If you attend on Saturday, you can run the same dog for both hunts, or run a different dog at each hunt.

Deadline: 7:00 AM Saturday, 10:00 for the Bench Show, 11:00 for the second hunt on Saturday, and 7:00 AM Sunday.

For the first hunt for sure, we will have a calcutta. Bring your $$$$$ and maybe you can buy a winner.

The last time the winner cost $5.00 and the winning bidder won $75.00.

We calcutta at mercer and the high hound went for 30 dollars and the winner won 103.00 and it was not me.

well pete H and S didn't so well sat. other then dave winning the 50/50 but had a great time. Frank Miller should get paid to the calcutta had the whole club cracking up.

Todd you can't win them all,and make sure you tell Dave I'll pick my check up for my half of the 50/50 at the next hunt,LOL.Right now I don't have a dog I'd be proud to run in a hunt,but it won't be long and I'll have some power to compete!!!!!
