I heard Mark Harmon(the master of hounds) and (club president) got mad when his dog lost, and went home.

Where have we seen this before.

Maybe someone else can post what the results were. A freind of mine placed second in the opens. Jeff Chasteen, running a redtick female. Her first trial. Not bad, 95 opens. He said a local guy won the opens. Not sure of his name. Congrats to Jeff.

I bet there is 2 sides to this story, I know Mark well enough that he didnt leave because he felt he was wronged on a cast, He has been beat plenty before and I have never heard him on here crying about it, lets wait and give him the benefit of the doubt, could have had problems at home or anything.

Swing,
Your right problems at home. I just got off the phone with Mark. He called me to let me know what was going on. He had gotten a phone call before he went out on Smoke's cast. So, it had nothing to do with the trial.

Figured, I know mark better than that, hopefully he can get everything worked out at home. I know how that can be, when you run dogs everyday of the week those things happen.

I am a club member and have heard from Mark who was master of hounds but is not the president or any other officer of the club. Small Town is right Mark did have some personal problems at home and he didnt feel the need to air out his dirty laundry to everyone there. He might have been upset about his dog losing but that had nothing to do with why he left. He left the hunt in very capable hands of his backup master of hounds who finished things up without a hitch. Comments made by TOPGUN are just an attempt to stir things up that he has no business in. I dont believe he was there nor did he have any dogs at the hunt.

Well there you have it. Just another big misunderstanding, right. No need to air anyones dirty laundry out on this board.
Gabe, I wonder how many text messages and phone calls you`ve recieved from Mark today?
I had a open there, but I had to work and did not see it worth calling in sick for.

You`re right Gabe. Its your quarter, and as long as its your shoulder catching the tears, I`m not worried. Another good point you`ve made. What a freind.
