Lonewolf, thanks for your reply. I have a question about the comment you made about "doing away with lifetime licenses". Are they proposing to stop selling them only, or are they proposing to stop selling them and revoking the ones they have already sold? I would sure HATE to lose my lifetime license. It's one of the best investments I've ever made LOL. I also agree with you about the poaching thing. When they raised licenses fees (from 13.75 to I think 24.00) for deer, I told all my friends two things....one, if they didn't have their lifetime licenses, buy them. Two, it's going to put everyone in more danger in the woods. I personally know of a bunch of folks who aren't "rich", and the cost of the deer tags is becoming a hardship for them. Around my neck of the woods, they are just a bunch of "good ole boys" who see those tags as a pain anyway, and now that they are that expensive, well, you know what's going on. More people than ever are poaching...hunting without tags, licenses, ect.lonewolf wrote:brian,,,,,,there are alot of laws they are trying to change,,,,,,,for instant, they are trying to do away with lifetime licenes, and they are going to pass a regulation that all people over 65 has to start buying a licenes,,its all in the states hands as they think they are not making enuf money,,but what do they do with the money, buy new boats, trucks, they sure dont use it to manage wildlife thats for sure,,,,before long there will be a big drop in licenes sales and a big jump on poacher numbers,,,,,mark my word,,,,,,
