What Is Meant By A Cold Nose?

Is this a good trait?

Cold nosed trait is good or bad. it just depends on what you like. A cold nose dog will bark a lot on old sign. A hot nose dog will not bark until the rabbit is up. If you hare hunt a cold nose dog is what you need in order to get them up and running. Ond down side to a cold nosed dog that has been my experience is that they tend to run the back sign especially when they are first starting out. I like a cold nose dog for hares but do not care much for them when hunting cottontails.
