EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Post by FLABSLAB »

I lost my transmitter for my 3 dog classic 70 by Tritronics. Well, I didn't lose it, someone else did, :bash: but that's another story.:mad2:

Anyway, I called Tritronics to see about a replacement. They informed me it would cost about 200 bucks to replace the transmitter and the holster. That in itself made me happy.... :D figured it would be more. I had to send them my 3 collars, and when I got everything back yesterday, WOW! They had sent me the 3-button transmitter (new style) instead of the one with the 3-way switch. They also sent me a new charger. From my initial call to recieving my package yesterday, they did a good job.

I don't know about you, but customer service is important to me. Give Tritronics a try!

Tri-Tronics is tops. I bought a 6 dog classic 70 in December. Last Thursday I sent it back due to wanting a 6 dog Trashbreaker. I went hunting on Tuesday and when I got home my new unit was sitting on the porch. Now that's service!!!

I `ve got a six dog unit myself, the yellow collar won`t turn off, called them and they fixed it PDQ,WELL, about 4 months later the same collar did the same thing, called them and they GRILLED me about use and they just fixed it, BUT bottom line was they became testy about the product, they told me that they WOULD NOT RERAIR IT AGAIN,it`s a year old last Nov...... Report said that I was allowing the unit to go to 0 charge,so guys you gotta keep then charged...............

I just broke off the tiny rubber/plastic charging plug that covers the contacts on one of my receivers. I looked on their website and could not find the part....

I called and talked to them and it was a "non-chargable part"....They asked how many I needed and would send them out that day....A++ Service.

Even though I was only expecting to pay a Buck or Two + Shipping for the part, it was a nice gesture to provide it even though I was upfront that I had broken it.

I agree. Tri-tronics is the best. Would be hard to beat my new G-2 system. This is an excellent company with an excellent product, and they contribute generously to beagling. If you are in the market for equipment give 'em a try. Sacandaga Dog Supply carries, or can get, anything tri-tronics makes at a great price. My new system arrived in just a couple of days and the price was even less than the price in their ad in the magazine. Tri-tronics has put together a great product. They were back-ordered at the company a couple of weeks ago when I ordered mine. Sacandaga found one for me. Don't do like I did and wait until you need one. If you are planning on training young dogs, order em now!!!!

I dont know........the Dogtra Warranty service is tough to match. I bought a new 4 dog system this summer and started having trouble within a couple of months. Finally I sent it in, overnite UPS on a Monday all the way to California from northern Ontario, CANADA. They had the system repaired and back in my hands by FRIDAY of the SAME WEEK, plus they covered the return shipping. Hows that for service????? :D
It's not that life is short......it's just that we're dead for such a long, long time...

I had a collar that was buzzing and another that totally failed on my 3 dog classic. Down to 1 working collar so I boxed them up the other day and called them to get a mailing address to see if they would "take a look at them". They asked how old they were and a I said a couple few years old....well long story short they asked for serial numbers and then came back with all my info, bought from LCS in 2002, they said they would take my 3 dog unit and rebuild everything to "as new" for $150. Any of you ever had them "rebuild" a unit?

Take care,
Randy

WS Randy B, I had a Beagler "rebuilt" They gave me brand new receivers, new batteries in the transmitter with a new antenna. Brought my old unit up to new factory specifications. It was like buying a whole new unit....Great deal i think. Was very pleased and its still working fine two years later!

I just got my Beagler XL two dog back last week. I had ordered new batteries and that didn't fix my problem so I sent them in, they deducted the cost of the new batteries from the repair price and I got two new receivers and a new transmitter except for the tube and button guard. Can't beat that in my book!
