Just wanted to thank all you guys down there. I had a great time. If you are looking for a good group of guys to cut up and have a good time, along with some good ol country cooking then this is the place to go. I also witnessed some of the best running in a field trail. There were rabbits everywhere. Only one cast did not have a rabbit race. Keep up the good work guys. Hope to see some of you guys at Albany or Eubank.

Good bunch of guys and some excellent food Like sanderson said, had some of the best running I've had at a trail in a long time. All but one cast had solid running. Thanks guys for a real good time and I will be back.

Arliss Barnetts Tiger dog won champion with Dog by name of weedeater "Farmer" good solid hound finishing second. In the Opens it was down to chainrocks Gunner dog and Rufus Stewarts Buster dog but I do not know which one won! We had good running and a good crowd. Good home cooked lunch . Thanks to SAnderson and Howard for helping judge. Shane judged one of my dogs and did a good job, and no she did not win but she got what she had and that is all anyone can ask for, if she would have won I could not have said he did a good job because she got beat by a better hound in that cast. Thanks, Howard for handling my sons Champion dog so he could handle my open dog while I judged another cast. Thats what makes it work when you have people you can trust to handle your dog and help out. I know you guys did not take home any hardware but neither did I and I'm used to it, haha but you both have good hounds and will get your wins. I look forward to see everyone again. I also enjoyed talking with Hillbilly and Chainrock but if I'm going have to judge him Chainrock can leave Gunner home , because I can't keep up with him, LOL. I know everyone doesn't feel like everything went their way but I did my best on the cast I judged and that isn't much ,but I tried. The winners cast of opens that I judged had three dogs that could get it done. Gunner, Briar Hoppers Kennels Sadie dog, and Skyveiw Kennels Daisy dog. Those were three of the better dogs I've ever attempted to judge together. They did not create any checks they just pounded and pounded the rabbit. We have a nother hunt on the 18th of February but I think we will be serving burgers and hotdogs at this one. We hate to keep asking our wives to put those home cooked meals out to often.I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. I think most of you guys have learned that I like to have fun. Rufus's Buster dog won,, he is a really tough young hound,, Finals was interesting because of Gunner and Buster being littermates. Congrats Rufus... tnbeagleman enjoyed talking with you and the rest of the guys,,I will see ya on the 18th.

HAD A GOOD TIME AT THE HUNT .THE RUNNING WAS GOOD THE FOOD WAS BETTER,I ALWAYS ENJOY THE BS AROUND THE CLUB HOUSE ,THANKS TO ALL THE JUDGES,, HOWARD .I'M GOING TO TRY TO COME TO ONE OF YOUR HUNTS AT YOUR CLUB, IF THE OLD BACK WILL LET ME, I LIKED TALKING ABOUT THE BREEDING OF THE DOGS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT HUNT.
