Randy,

There is a huge differance between discussing differant points of view and what you guys were doing on the other thread.

On the thread you are refering to, you and others were going back and forth about being tough guys and who could beat up who, that is not what is on this thread and definately not in any of my posts.

I don't live in a glass house, I build on a strong foundation.

:offtopic: Not saying I agree or disagree with him, just letting you know Tim H is not related to me. :crossfingers: I value the info on this forum and don't want anybody shuting me out.

Glad you clarified that. I don't think this board is about shutting anyone out though. It's about hearing each other out.

Aaron....I may try making it over to that hunt if I can get these panlickers in shape. I look forward to getting back into some of the trials.

Tim, I dont see a huge difference, humor is humor. :bash:

Mid- KY had a great trial again this year. I ran a 15" female and was picked up 7th. The winners pack was top of the line! The majority of the winners pack was ran on one rabbit in a spot where everyone could see and there was no doubt Super Chic was getting it done; although all of the females were doing thier part. I would have liked to have placed, but so would have the other 30 guys that didn't that day. I learned to lose a long time ago and it always sucks, but that's part of trialing. I heard the other classes went just as well with the big males going all the way to a third series and finished up on Sunday. I didn't hear any complaints about the judges or hounds that placed all weekend. Great Job Mid-Ky! Keep getting honest judges and your trial will continue to be a success. Congratulations to the winners and those who placed; it was well deserved.

JEREMY HUBERT HERE. I run in the 15 inch bith class and I also come from the nkc trialing. I have been to 4 AKC trials two with my male and two with my female, and I love it. Not that anybody cares, but the judges have been really honest and hard working. I personally did not see any favortisim going on but hey, I'm new. I have been picked up in the first round, did not get called back, won 3rd, and 4th with my Tori bitch. All different judges, that i have never met. In every cast or pack even the ones I got picked up in, I WAS JUDGE FAIR. The AKC people and judges are great. Thanks alot JEREMY HUBERT. (HUBERTSOUTLAW)

Tim,

You are the same guy who cried about how many clubs there are in KY. If all these things are wrong, which they are not, get off your a#* start a club in Indiana, and get your judges licenses. I once had a coach who said " those who do, do and say nothing, and those who don't criticize, gripe, complain, and make excuses". The Midwest, AKC, or any judge is not perfect or do I think any body said they were, but they are all out trying like hell to be.

Guess I will add my two cents in here as well.First off I dont know you at all.I have no reason to dislike you or discredit you.I will first try and address your perception theory.yes if you look at the numbers of judges placing dogs you could say that maybe there is some buddyjudging going on.You could also say the same thing if only one judge a trial placed a dog.You coould also say the same thing if no judge ever placed a dog.You could also come up with a theory that these guys who judge know what it takes to do well and get that type of dog and then put the necessary time into them.I wont go on big tirade here or defense of the Midwest Assoc. All I know is that I think that the judging continues to improve in the Midwest to the point that it is better than it ever has been.I dont know what happened to you in Midwest to make you so sour on it.Whatever it was I am sorry that it happened to you.Regardless of your feelings I think that if you ran your dog in a midwest trial it would be judged fairly regardless of what the judge thought of you personally.Do I know this as an absolute fact?nope but it is what I truly believe.
As far as Jamie Rice goes,I dont know Jamie really well but when he feels like you are attacking something he loves,he is pretty likely to respond. As far as his honesty goes I would say he is a lot more likely to pee somebody off by telling them the truth than he is by telling a lie.Maybe I am wrong about my feelings in all this but like I said it is what I believe.I hope at some point you will put aside your hard feelings and past experiences about Midwest and come to a trial.

MAN--You guys sure do sit on this darn computer long enough. It took me 20 minutes to read all this crap. The sky is still blue guys. Let it go. The moral here is don`t attack a kentucky boy on a kentucky boys home turf. You`ll get kentucky`d to death.

until you have judged midwest hounds you have know idea how much power these dogs put out. on horse or foot you will be worn out. a win is the hardest thing to get. i have made my share of winners packs but nbq at a licensed is the best i have done but my dog is only 18 months old and i am happy with that but being that close not much seperates those dogs 1-5 the dog and the score book from both judges is the determining factor.
after you are picked up, you just gotta go back to square one run some more rabbit tracks and hopefully you will do better the next time.

i have always said people are so high on their dogs until you go to a trial and get knocked back down to earth real quick. it`s either you have the patience to do what it takes to make a dog instead of buying pedigrees.

if you win a midwest trial you better relish the moment because it may never come again. i am still searching for a first win. but in some cases i have lasted longer in a trial with dogs who already have a win or 2 or 3 or 4 and just need points those dogs get picked up to. midwest is where it`s happening nothing but power and great people coming together win or lose. i love it i may never win but i will sure be there with my hound, until the other hounds send her home i will be there. pumped up, strictly business, game face on. long live the midwest.

you know i have to give alot of credit too chad peercy who got off of work at 4am and a judge didnt show and he came out and judged. people dont recognize the sacrifices that some make to midwest beagling and chad i for one am very proud of your dedication to the sport and gave us 27 big bitches a chance to get it on. hall of famer material in my book. but can we get someone else on the cover or rename it chad peercy rabbit hound association. the guy has nice dogs. he will call me a smart a$$ for the comment it`s all fun in my book. jamie, shawn, jimmie you guys have nice dogs and i have seen them ran against them. hope to see you all at western ky but i doubt i make it that far the drive makes me quiver just thinking about it.

the last three trials have been won by rb sester breeding. banjo, and a young hound named lukewho was a derby last year. this guy who is a hall of famer and got beat by his own breeding`s. i was giving him crap were pretty good friends and he shut me up real quick when you finish 9 field champions then i will argue with you. that took the air out of me, but just to be around people like that is what makes it fun. i have been to his house and it is plum full of wins that fills up a whole room dedicated to just dog`s. your hounds can be mentally able and physically fit until you win a midwest trial you aint shittttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.
