dogs coughing

dogs coughing

:confused: Went hunting 3 days ago in an area where chicken litter had been spread and disked into the ground,now 8 out of 13 dogs are coughing.I gave them 2cc of penecillian today and mixed a tablespoon of terramycin in their water at 5 gallons.If any one has some suggestions or cures I would greatly appreciate them.Thanks in advance!!!

Why does chicken litter cause this?

Chicken crap is very high in Nitrogen content. i would guess this is what is irritating their respiratory system.
