I am for it but really dogs that do that will pretty much beat themselves when they get up against a good clean running dog.Same way with a dog that swings real bad in a check area.If you have a dog that stays close and dont let the wild dog rattle it,it will check the wild dog to death most the time.
good dogs run on good days, great dogs run when u take them out

I would agree with you somewhat LaMarr if all the judges knew what the heck they were doing. Ive seen dogs that overrun and swing so far that they "happen on" to a totally different rabbit. The dogs that are working the check like its suppose to be or even close to the way they are suppose to get the check just a few seconds after the wild idiot finds a new rabbit and the judge isnt smart enough to know which rabbit is the one they are suppose to be running.
I think its good to have different formats and every format is going to promote a little different style of dog. Every format has holes. We as beaglers just need to pick a format we like and run it. The others will take care of themselves.

I agree with Lamar. I think there should be a more defined check area. There are alot of wild dog in Little Pack but there are many clean running dogs too. All you hear from guys that don't run Little pack is that LP dogs are wild. You never hear them talk about the many clean running dogs in LP.
