This is a poor quality food. You will get alot of clean up in the kennel and very poor coat. Not to mention that there is the known carcinogen (cancer causing agent), BHa. There are way to many grains and not nearly enough meat in this food.
The protein and especially the fat levels are to low. Most of what s/he eats will be "crapped" out. There are not nearly enough Kcals per serving and look how much you would have to feed a dog 10 - 25lbs.
Here is a superior quality food for comparison.
This food is for active adults.

I've been feeding Buckeye Pro Kennel Premium Formula Dog Food (26% protein, 16% fat) for about 2 months. The dogs look great and have plenty of stamina in the field. The digestibility of the product seems to be on a par with other premium dry dog foods.
Before I made the switch, I contacted the company several times with technical questions about the nutritional properties of the product. Each time the company was prompt in providing the information requested.

I have fed it since 1995 to my Boxers. It is great food! It's availability is scarce in the part of Ohio I live in now, so I drive quite a ways to get it. But my boxer with allergies has to have it. It works better for her than Iams. Very clean food (no junk additives). Trust me, Abbie willo let you know.
For years I fed Buckeye to my beagles also. For convenience reasons the beagles are now on Black Gold. I hate to haul and store a lot of dog food.
Buckeye makes top quality food! I would recommend it to anyone!
