Let's "pretend" you had as much as $10,000 to just blow on any beagle in the country................what dog would you be trying to buy??

This should be fun.

Take care,

You dont have to spend it all........lol. Is there not any dogs worth that much right now?

I said 10G because that is the most I have ever known to have been spent on a dog....he was a very well known FC, UBGF I think.

I remember my dad spending $2500 for a coon dog in mid 70's and my mom about killed him....but that dog, Black Jack, produced enough hides that first year to fill 2--50 gallon drums at an average of $35-40 each.......lol, those were the days before fake fur and tree huggers!

I miss them days.

Time for bed.

Take care,
Randy

I believe the $10,000.00 dog was FC Bluerock Hobo.

I know of a dog in Wis that was bought for $10K, but I won't mention the name without permission to protect the buyer and seller...

I am familiar with a dog that 1/2 interest sold for $12000, and it was a brace beagle. I also know that the high derby Lab last year sold for $70,000. I missed out on the oportunity to own the 18 month old Master Hunter, 1/2 sister, the youngest in Canadian history. It kills me every day. Beagler's are cheap in comparison.

I agree, I would pay $10,000 for Ninja in a heart beat, a New York second. There are several others that are gone, I would pay $10,000 for also.

The dog I wanted most, I own a 1/2 interest in, it was IFC Murray's Little Blazer. The best all around rabbit dog I've even seen. He hasn't been breed much but look out, he has had his way with the ladies of my kennel.

That was one of my good friends fathers dog. He said he was just a kidd when the guy bought him. He sat in the back seat of the car while the guy counted out hundered dollar bills. We both still have that same bloodline today. That was alot of money back in the early 80s....Jaron

If you have the money I will sell all of my dogs for alot less. We can just tell everyone that they sold for 10,000.I would even throw in a dog box and truck, and a room full of trophies.

Either IFC Able's East Coast Trimmer (Jack's sire) or IFC Haunted Hill Harper (Shaker's sire).
