If you can make things look so much bigger, like that by holding your arm just right, I need somebody to help me take some pictures of some things around here !! lol

seriouslly,

do you not see that the snake is being held by a stick with his arm fully extended towards the camera. you can tell all of this clearly by checking out the shadow across his chest in comparison to other shadows in the picture....

and honestly, what man could pick up a 10 foot snake with one arm fully extended? i'm not the snake expert you all are but a 10 foot cottonmouth would probably running 75-95 lbs.... can anyone name one fella who can support 75+ lbs with one arm extended out like that?

come on....

okay, here is an example... i'm going to tell you about this 5 foot trophy i won the other day..... and then i'll post this picture.....

Image

however, by hold the exact same trophy against my body which gives reference to its actual size you can clearly see the isn't hardly 12"....

Image

here in 2 mins i managed to make a 12" trophy appear to be 5 feet tall...

i'm sure this was a good size snake, but i assure you its no 10 footer... and yes we have snakes here and i worry about my dogs every day i run.... depending on what parts we have rattlers and everywhere here we have copperheads...

I'll have to agree with xdawg...just last year we had some people here in WV try this same stunt with a rattle snake. The media ran a big story on it all over the state for a few weeks just to find out it was really a hoax. The funny part was I actually knew people who swore that they had seen it and they all said "I know the guy that killed it" or "I talked to the guy who took the picture of it" and it was all fake.....It may be a big snake but I seriously dout that fella could hold that big of a snake with one arm on a little stick....Just my oppinion....take it for what it's worth...nothin

Randy, you must not have said the right stuff when trying to catch the snake. The croc guy says stuff like, "e's a beaut, ait' e!" I think you gotta say stuff like that to distract 'em or something. I prefer the "shoot first didn't he used to be a beaut" method!

An adult conversation here?

About a picture we can neither prove nor disprove?

I gotta stick around and watch one of these.......don't see them very much on the net.

Bopeye,

Honestly if you read my post you'll see i proved it false there. The physical data doesn't support the claims thus making it false...

As far as the name calling goes and personal opinions about ones weight, i have no problem with it.... Just didn't think it belonged here in this conversation. Sorry you think different.

If you are saying i'm not online much you are sadly mistaking, i'm probably on too much...

You all take it easy,

Jack,
Wasn't saying a thing...........just thought the man's chiding was innocent enough.

As far as proving or disproving anything about the snake........nothing has been substantial enough to make me think either way. All I know is that is one large snake.

Your amount of time on the net........???

All I said was that I wanted to see a adult conversation on the net, which rarely happens as most of us have "net rage" which is akin to "road rage" in my opinion.

My post at the very least was meant in jest.
