Paul, I am also looking at around the third week in October for our trip...do a google or yahoo search on Papins Resort...you will see photos of the cabins available for rent (ranging from basic to extravagant). Their website also lists the cost of the cabins and has a contact phone number. I think they also have a ferry schedule listed, but I could be wrong...you can get that from their business bureau on the island I guess. I will be booking a cabin myself in the next couple of weeks...when you get reserved, let me know by email and we can plan to hook up and hunt together up there...we should have about three to four in our party as well...Tony

Brian, I like the third weekend in October the best, since I like to bowhunt here over Halloween...(big bucks get killed around then). We should have enough hounds down for this trip...I am bringing 3 at least, maybe four...the weather should be cool, but not too cold, kinda hard to say with the island being so much further north than we are...Tony

I am going to try to book us a cabin tomorrow for the 16-20 we are planning on bringing all our dogs and hunting them in 2 packs any advice or suggestions that will make the trip easier on us and dogs would be appreciated. man i'm getting all excited but then I stick my head outside and the 90 degree weather calms me down.

well we haved booked a cabin for the 15-18, if any of you guys are going to be up there that week let me know and we will try to get togather and hunt a time or two.
