A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)
Just heard from a Tenn subscriber and he reports that he just got his May issue today. I'm beginning to wonder if the Post Office down there waits until the next month shows up and then remembers they didn't deliver the ones they have.
The June issue hasn't made it to Indiana yet (where it's mailed from). Kentucky, you folks usually get yours first. Anybody from KY or anywhere else get June yet? They were mailed last Tuesday.
I guess we're on an E-O-M cycle in Tenn. Any suggestions how to get ahold of your state's Postal HQ's? It's nearly impossible to get a live person on the phone anymore.
They hit most of Indiana today. Cincinnati is the main sorting hub for this region. They all go through Cincinnati first, yet I hear some folks in OH still waiting on theirs. Looks like I will have to make a change soon to periodical rate. I hope they give me my money's worth when I do.
Just an update: My postal rep here in Indpls. will call the Memphis postal rep on Monday June 9 to see if they have released those May issues. If they have, or will, then it will be quicker than me trying to re-mail. If the rep in Memphis acts like he doesn't have a clue, and no one still has theirs, I will re-mail the state of Tenn. a May issue.
I don't want a remailing Bev. Give us a number to contact and let those of us here in Tennessee call our postal service and complain about their service. Why should you have to pay again for something that is not your fault.
Do NOT send me another mailing. Just give me an address or phone # of who I need to contact and I'll do it. I guarantee it.
There is absolutely no sense in you having to keep spending money on something you have no control.
Give us the info. and I believe you will be surprised what can happen when a few Tennessee boys get their feathers ruffled about something.
Please go this route first and then we will go from there.
Time to kick in and anty up my Tennessee brethren!!!
Let's give our postal service a tongue lashing that they won't soon forget.
