Super Glue was invented as a stichless way to close the heart up during open heart surgury. I've used it on myself and dogs many times. Emergency rooms still use a glue that's called Dermabond (derma from dermis meaning skin). It can be purchase at the Rx. I carry it in my 1st aid kit. The only problem is it has a shelf life of about 6 months, so you have to replace it a couple times a year even if you don't use it.

I cut my hand kinda bad and used Super Glue on the cut, did'nt clean the wound before glueing it together. Got infected. On the way to the doctor I stopped to get gas. Of course I told them about my hand, the owner told me he knew just what to do. He sprayed my hand with brake cleaner. Knock the infection right now. If you ever try this get two big guys to hold the fellow get sprayed, it burns.
