I feel 95% of most beagle breeders are honest and it is easy to figure out the dishonest ones pretty quickly. It takes a fairly ignorant man to be dishonest when dealing with animals/dogs. There are easier ways to be a thief and crook.

Sally,, having the data base and useing it are two different things here.. I'll bet as we turn these DNA tests in to the AKC they go on file and nothing more is done with them!!! Now if someone questions a breeders integrity,, the crap hits the fan!!!!!! I to agree that there are better ways to be a crook..

I agree, Crew. The dna is only used if a someone gets a complaint usually. I I do know that if akc checks a kennel they will do a swab of some hounds to check to see if the dna matches up with the sire if that sire has been profiled.
