DRUMMOND ISLAND AND THE LEGENED

Post by richard g harker »

THE LEGEND DAVE ROOP AND I JUST GOT BACK FROM DRUMMOND ISLAND. AFTER 12 YEARS OF HUNTING BEAVER ISLAND IT WAS TIME FOR A CHANGE. TOO MANY DEER HUNTERS AND TOO MUCH POSTED LAND. WASN'T SURE WHAT TO EXPECT OR WHERE TO HUNT - THAT WAS NO PROBLEM THERE WERE PLENTY OF RABBITS TO HUNT. DAVE AND FRIEND KIPP ALSO CAUGHT 40 PERCH. THANKS TO DAVE FOR SETTING ME UP WITH SOME GREAT HOUNDS. P.S. WILL LOAD PICKS AS SOON AS I LEARN HOW.

I saw this posting and got a huge grin on my face! I used to live in Michigan and when I first got into Beagles, I ran with Dave every now and then. I always enjoyed running dogs with Dave. I live in Ohio now on some sweet bunny hunting land, and would like to get in contact with him. My name is Bill Ennis. If you could PM me with his number I'd sure appreciate it! Thanks.

Hey Rick, l finally got help from the American Beagler and they assisted me on how to log on.
Thanks for the kind words.
I ran the dogs this Wednesday A.M.
l had Timber and the two male pups out of Sonny. The pups will be 9 months old November 14, they are running like old dogs, Timber latched on to a bunny and would not let go, ran it for two hours and then we picked them up and went home.

How is Sonny and Robin doing, email me.
