AS A MATTER OF FACT,BRING YOUR GUNDOGS TO THE HUNT SUNDAY AT PAUL PREVOT'S CLUB AND WE CAN TRIAL THEM TOGETHER.IT WILL BE FUN.BE SURE TO BRING THE CHAMPION DOG TOO,MAYBE IT CAN RUN WITH OL DOZER,I LOVE MEETING NEW PEOPLE.

I thought it would be strike the dog that barked 3 times and jump points for the dog who caught the rabbit.
I guess I was wrong.

Here is what the rules say on catching a rabbit:

C. Strike
1. Definition: A strike is 3 or more barks from 1 hound after the
hounds have been released in the field.
a. If a hound catches a rabbit prior to giving mouth, this hound
shall receive strike and jump points.

E. Checks
1.a. If a hound catches a rabbit during the open check time, the
hound shall be awarded 25 check points. If a hound catches a
rabbit when the check time is not open, the judge shall call
dead track and no check points shall be awarded.

So in this case it looks like Strike Dog A and no points for Dog B.

like a friend of mine that has won everything there is to win in arha and akc just told me a couple hours ago,you all haters do this for one reason and that is jelousy,so i will not trash talkback and forth anymore because that is what you want.i will just go to hunts,win or loose,and have fun.i will not let myself stoop to your level.as far as my dogs,i will gladly throw my dogs down with anyones.but why not make it interesting?howabout a freinly wager?what do you say carn?

I HAVE NEVER TRIED TO STEP ON ANY TOES,BUT SINCE I CAME ON HERE AND STARTED POSTING STUFF EVERYBODY HAS BEEN TAKING SHOTS AT ME,SO TELL ME THEN WHY DO YOU THINK THEY DO THIS?PEOPLE HAVE SLAMMED DOZER OVER AND OVER AND HAVE PROBABLY NEVER SEEN HIM RUN,I CHECKED OLD POSTINGS ON HIM AND WHEN KEVIN AND TOM OWNED HIM PEOPLE TALKED GOOD ABOUT HIM,NOW THAT I OWN HIM ,EVERYONE TREATS HIM LIKE HE IS A PIECE OF CRAP.WHAT IT IS IS I HAVE ONLY BEEN TRIALING FOR A YEAR NOW,ONE OF MY DOGS HIT A LUCKY STREAK AND I BOUGHT A FEW NICE DOGS SO NOW EVERYONE HATES ME.NOONE HAD A PROBLEM WITH ME BEFORE I BOUGHT THEM,NOW I AM A PEICE OF S##T IN EVERYONES EYES.THE SAD THING IS WHEN I STARYED TRIALING,A 14 YEAR OLD BOY TOLD ME AND I QUOTE,"YOU WILL HAVE FUN UNTIL YOU START WINNING",NOW I SEE WHAT HE MEANT,AND IT IS SAD THAT YOU WOULD THINK WINNING WOULD BE FUN BUT IT AINT WORTH DEALING WITH THE TRASH TALKING.AND THE WORST THING IS THE IMPRESSION YOU ALL ARE LEAVING ON THESE YOUNG KIDS THAT SEE THIS HAPPENING.WE TRY TO BRING YOUNG PEOPLE INTO THIS SPORT,AND THEY GO ONLINE AND SEE PEOPLE BADMOUTH EACH OTHER THIS WAY.PEOPLE TOLD ME THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN WHEN I BOUGHT THOSE DOGS AND THEY WHERE RIGHT.THE GUY THAT SAID THIS FORUM HAS DONE MORE HARM THAN GOOD TO OUR SPORT WAS EXCACTLY RIGHT.IT IS PETHETIC HOW SOME PEOPLE ACT ON HERE.I WILL TELL YOU HOW BAD IT IS GETTING,SOMEONE CALLED MY HOUSE THE OTHER DAY AND MY FIVE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS ON THE NICKOLODEON SITE,THE ONLINE ANSWERING SERVICE PICKED UP AND SOME LOWLIFE SAID,"DANNY VANSICKLE'S DOGS SUCK D##K!"AND MY FIVE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HEARD IT.NOW THAT IS GOING TOO FAR.I WILL PROBABLY NEVER KNOW WHO IT WAS BUT THAT SHOWS THE EFFECT THIS FORRUM HAS.I PROMISED MY WIFE I WOULD QUIT ARGUING ON HERE BUT EVERYTIME I LOOK AT THE POSTINGS SOMEBODY IS BADMOUTHING ME FOR NO REASON.YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.BUT IT WON'T QUIT TILL I STOP SIGNING ON SO I GUESS THAT IS THE WAY IT HAS TO BE.WHAT WOULD YOUR MOTHERS THINK OF THE WAY SOME OF YOU ALL ACT ON HERE?AND THE BAD THING IS I HAVE LET MYSELF STOOP TO YOUR LEVEL.

I don't see how asking for input on scenarios and then defending yourself can be construe'd as stooping to someone elses level. I personally feel that posting scenarios on here can be a good thing for our registry, every can learn from them, if you can't keep to the topic then just don't respond. Danny I don't know you from Adam but in my 40+ years I have learned one thing for sure. People would'nt be gunnin for you if THEY didn't think you were on top! Dave Hernandez

ok,that's what that botton does,i never claimed to be a computer geious i want to thank the last two postings for their support,no i am not at the top nor claimed to be but i see what you mean.a soon as i started getting "LUCKY" i started getting slammed.and the bad thing is now i have to worry about drawing these guys or their buddies as judges.people really need to get to know people first before they judge who they are,i made the mistake when i first entered this sport of listening to what people where saying about another guy that wins in arha lp,tony upton.all i hear was that he was the biggest cheater in the world.then when i accually got to know tony,i seen he is a good guy,and one of the best judges.and i have never,ever heard tony say one bad word about anyone else.and that is the same thing happening to me.people need to get to know me first,heck we may become freinds,but as long as they listen to other people ,they will always have a bad opinion of me.that is why i say,judge the dogs not the owner.

Good post Danny. But I like getting on the board and looking at everything I think it hurts trialing or beagling its just that some people are more than likely jealous. But if people bad mouth you what kind of a man are ya if you dont stand up to them. A man can't just let people walk all over em. Anyway, Danny I watched Dozer and enjoyed watching him run. I didn't know what he was out of but I read your post on the trading post and I like the breeding of him. And don't be surprised if I dont give you call some day wanting to breed to him.

jealousy runs deep around here. Have fun with the dogs and try haveing fun with each other. It use to be a pleasure running dogs and listening to them barking on a trail but you can't hear the dogs because of the bad talk others are putting out because they can't keep up. Go out and have fun and maybe the sport will grow into something worth going to again.
