TURBO,JUST A DOG,OR A BLOODLINE?

Dream Boat is dead he has been for almost two years. There is no reason to even talk about what he has produced because he is not hear.

Just like Turbo himself he is dead. I am not interested in Turbo. I am interested in the hound out of him that has Turbos reproducing abilities.

Are there any out there??? Who is a GREAT reproducer out of Turbo???? Is there one???? Not a hound that throws a good dog hear and there. A hound that throws a good consistant litter of pups no matter what they are breed to.

There has been plenty of time for all of us to know what Turbo sons and daughters are reproducers and what ones are not. Turbos youngest siblings have to be 4 years old or better.

I would love to go back with a female I have to a Turbo son but I am not going to do it because the hound is a good hound, has won everything under the sun, or is out of Turbo. I want the hound to be a reproducer ( hunt, honest mouth, easy to keep straight..etc).

Now that is what I am wanting to hear. Someone named a few dogs out of a Turbo son. Alot more specific that time. Thank you.

I would not say it is not worth mentioning Turbo or DreamBoat, due to that is where my dogs have gotten some of their abilities. Now it will be interesting to see if they too can pass on some of the traits that made these dogs what they were.
And you did say "Lets start a list ( names, titles, sire, dam ) of Champions out of Turbo sons or daughters."
Max's Dam was Duncan's Good Golly Miss Molly
Titles ARHA Grand Bench and Champion

Opie is also owned by Jesse Duncan and Holds a Champion title in ARHA
Socket is owned by Jesse's Grandpa and Holds a Champion title in ARHA
Mike Copeland owns Finder which holds multiple titles. UKC both formats and ARHA
What is Showboat throwing? Surely he has been bred.
As far as easy to keep...LOL Mine are not made for inside city limits. LOL

Hey Dan I'm not trying to be a wise guy,but turbo is a great dog out of a great bloodline.If you look back behind elk creek blue babe, it is full of branko blood.We all know that the top side of turbo is prop,who I got to see run twice,the last time was at great miami when he finished. DOMINATED that day,very nice hound. Here are some branko hounds behind blue babe, FTC brankos close call girl, brankos conman, FTC brankos flying spark, brankos lilly marlene, FTC brankos peggy sue, FC brankos dutch wiefke. Even though branko didn't make the breeding its branko blood. I'm not trying to take anything away from Don for making the cross it worked great. Turbo and blue babe along with ace in the hole became Don's foundation stock to a very successfull breeding program. Since he started this I think he has finished 12 hounds.

Im not a Branko hater. I have some of his blood, but you cant give him credit for evey good dog with some of his blood behind it. Every time a cull is talked about that is full of his blood somebody will say it aint Branko if it didnt come from the Krpans. I just see a double standard.

As far as Elk Creeks Blue Babe goes she was way more Sock It To Me than Branko. She only had 1 of 4 dogs on her 2nd generation that were Branko.

the thing is,branko is somewhere in a lot of big time "lines"being bred todai,prime time,turbo,blue ninja,ect.
at some point we have to declare a different title for these lines.otherwise eventualy everything will be labeled "branko" even though branko won't even appear on the three or four gen. peddigree,true?

when i breed to a prime time dog it is for prime time's traits not branko,although that is where it comes from.

when i breed to my turbo son,it is for turbo's traits,ect,ect,ect.

it is a matter of opinion,should tubo be considered it's own bloodline?we could argue a lot of hounds this way.

These are all nice producing hounds, and I agree that you breed to them for there traits. But in order for, say primetime to become a blood line, don't you think you need half brother and sister,grandson to granddaughter,uncle to neice,aunt to nephew crosses? Isn't this how blood lines are started? When you see all this start to show up in the ped. then I would say it is primetime bloodline. Like you said it is a matter of opinion. It takes a long time to develope a bloodline of hounds.

hard track. i beleave magic touch was out of the same cross maybe even litter mates and there is a few more. it will take for me to kick start my brain. and do some research, but i am betting there are some guys on this board who would know more for sure.

these are a diffrent cross from jack. so they would be prop sibbling.
