young hound

Post by JTBeagler1 »

I have a 10 month old pup that will run but has a lot of mouth doesnt really get the idea that there is a line to run, just runs around barking everywhere. Is there a way to fix that besides time, or will this dog always be like that or with time have a lot of mouth??

Alot of time on the ground and a good hot nosed hound will pull them right out of it. Just watch the speed of the training hound, had one female way to fast to train young dogs and it just caused more wimpering and whining try'n to keep up even when the pup was on the track.
