Most seem to be med. speed hounds w/ some upper med. Decent hunt and good nose on the ones I've ran.

Mine run to catch,they have great hunt & good noses.They have been ran from Vermont to Fla. to New Mexico to Washington.Cotontails,snowshoes & swappers.they seem to do good on whatever or wherever we take or send them.

Mine run upper medium to medium fast depending on conditions. I believe you would have to look hard and long to find beagles with more hunt. They not only keep busy but they can find rabbits too.

I have one out of Bubs stud and he hunts hard and has decent foot with the brains to gear down on tough days.
