walker/beagle
My first experience with hounds was fox hunting with beagle/walker mixes. They were great, didn't push the fox too fast or too far. 17-18"

I had one a while back, it was to high strung for me, but I don't think that was because it was walker and beagle mix. I think it was because both parents were probably high strung. If both parents are both good minded trail dogs, then the pups will be good trail dogs, just inbetween in size of both breeds.

I had one that was out of a male grnt walker and a female fc she was about 17 inches not crazy fast ran a tight line worked a check right and leave you talking to yourself at times she ran alot of rabbits that other dogs couldnt you would think she was crazy but she would always come out smelling like a rose killed 300 plus rabbits off of her 2 years in a row
re Walker/Beagle
My Daddy had one some years back. Was one of the best dogs he ever owned. The Old Timers still talk about him over coffee and it's been thirty years. Daddy would run rabbits all day with him. Yes take a pair you can't go wrong.

Walker / beagle cross
In 1974 I raised a litter of half beagle and half walker, I sold all 6 of them and after I sold them the guys came back 6 months later wanting more , said they were the best swamp rabbit dogs they ever got a hold of.
Been hunting for 52 years rest of the time I wasted.
