RIP PINE MT CHESTER. I was fortunate enough to have watched many a rabbit race and gunhunt with this fine hound. Fortunately there is a pool of his genetics that will live on forever and influence my hounds for as long as i have hounds.
Chester escaped from his kennel last night or earlier today and was killed by some neighbors dogs.
Chip E he wasnt my hound, he was owned by Bobby and Allen Vest. Feels just the same. Ive lost several good ones in there prime the last few years so all and all it was a blessing to have him around as long as he has been.
What an unfortunate loss.....Sorry Bobby and Alan. I know they gotta be hurtin' over this for sure. Never got to see him run, but he was a heck of a reproducer for sure. Yall need anything holler at me guys.

Sorry about your losing this beagle, it always happens to the good ones. You couldnt run over a sorry hound in rush hour traffic even if it was laying in the middle of the road but you let a good one just step in the road and they will get hit every time. Again sorry about your loss, Tom C.
