Sorry to hear of your loss Bobby and Alan. I know Chester meant alot and was a companion to you guys. Alot of beaglers including myself will miss out on not being able to breed to him, which was my gameplan and a big reason I am feeding nothing but 3 females out of him. Hopefully through some of his offspring, I can find and make the right crosses.

Its funny how a dum ol dog becomes such a special part of ones life.I love each and every dog i own or have owned as much as any mom loves her children. I just hate chester got killed by dogs. Thats the part the hurts me most even though he was fighting over the same thing all men have fought over. Chester was special to me. I got lucky enuff to probaly have the last litter from him. I was doing my normal nightly patrol
sunday night when i seen a rabbit over by a barn so i called solo. As she came to me i thought how great this could be, after all she is only 3 months old . I called her to the track and sure as the sky is blue that little girls tail went to whipping and she opened .I watched the rabbit go 30-40yards and cut .Well I will be a monkeys uncle if she didnt open and track that rabbit till it holed in a brush pile. She was tore up. I got her back and loved on her. I thought then and there .Thanks chester.Another memory.

Chester would have been 10 in July. As far as breeding goes he was still in good shape. He was still really fertile. I forgot to thank all of the people that brought bitches to him. Allen and I love to see pups out of him run. I also wanted to thank Will Mason and Jimmie Abshire for promoting him so much, and defending him so many times. I think either one would have fought over Chester quicker than they would me or Allen. They both loved him just like he was their own. Again Allen and I thank everyone so much.
