2 UKC HUNTS - BRAZIL, IN - OCT 11 & 12

Just a reminder that the Brazil Indiana Coonhunt & Field Trial Assn. Beaglers are holding their first two hunts Saturday and Sunday, October 11 & 12. Friday evening we will be offering a free dinner and Dale Prunty will give a judging/rules seminar after the meal. This will be a good opportunity for first-time trialers to the UKC format. Please join us for a weekend of fun and beagling!

Hunt Reg. 7:30, Ch & Gr 12:00 both days. Fees: $10 hunt & $5 show.

Directions: I-70 West to exit 32 Brazil. Go south 200 yds to jct. 42 then make a left (east). Club will be one mile on the right. Follow signs. Contact Elwood Simmons (317) 839-3736 or (317) 271-2600. Motels 5 min. away or full camping facitilies.

Weather should be great for hunting and plenty of rabbits!

Bev, are these two seperate hunts? If so I was going to try to make Sunday. What will I need as far as registering dogs in the U.K.C. ? Thanks in advance. Ryan

Ryan, they are indeed two seperate hunts. All you need to bring is your dog and the registration fee of $15 and $10 to enter him in the hunt. If the dog is AKC registered, it may mean they don't have to take a picture of the hound to go with the application - not sure on that though. If he is AKC reg. bring those papers anyway. If not, no big deal. They will have a breed inspector there and we can register non-registered hounds. Come just a bit early to allow time to get your hound registered. Hope to see you there!

Bev, I hope to get in town some time between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, would you expect anyone to be at the clubhouse around that time?
I was thinking I may be able to register my dogs for Sun. and maybe catch the end of Saterday's hunt. Hope to see you there. Ryan
