jb, they did really well for pups! They didn't embarrass me a bit. All three had positive score on Saturday, allowing them to return on Sunday. Moe had something like 355 points on Saturday, making him second highest scoring male for the day.
On Sunday, Moe, BigGun, and Patch did well - BigGun had 3 first line and drives, Moe ran one fox solo, but those two petered out with 30 minutes left in the trial and were scratched. I wasn't surprised - the running was hard, heads-up honkin' both days. Patch had less score but hung in there till the end and got 7th place. If Moe and BigGun had hung in there for 30 more minutes on Sunday they would have placed 5th and 6th in the males, with Patch being 7th.
I can't complain. This is my very first trophy on a Freedom Run hound.

(Many thanks to Dan Kane for running my pups with his killer hounds for the past 3 months.)
I'm getting the full results together and will post them on the CBFTA site and here. It was a great trial. The boys from Georgia and South Carolina took home Highest Scoring female and ten other field awards, Best Mouth, and Best Male Show. The Canadians got Highest Scoring male who got the overall, 8 other field awards, Best Female Show and Classiest hound. It was really a great event, and will be hosted in the States next year.
