it happen again yesterday evening me and a buddy out runnin the dogs and we hear his 10 month old pup give a couple of yelps and come runnin out of the thicket and then he ran down the road like he was late for a date. so we got him and took a look and seen alot of blood around the neck area and finally seen two holes in his ear apears to have went all the way though the ear and he just has a little swelling around the hole's.
got lucky again....

yeah hillbilly down here in the deep south I see them year round, hope your hound is ok and heals up quick, I had a copperhead hit a pup a year or so ago dry bite not much swelling

I KILLED A SNAKE AT THE BASEMENT DOOR LAST NIGHT WHILE IT WAS RAINING BUT IT IS TRYING TO SNOW TODAY SHOULD SLOW THEM DOWN.........

We saw a black snake at our last hunt in the brush. The low the night before was 31. A little snow here today and lows in the 20's should put them in for awhile

It is like 35 degree's here and I caught the biggest garden snake I ever seen this week.
