I didn't get an answer on your phone, but the threat has been removed and the person in question has agreed to donate to build a headquarters for the new format. He has plenty of money and you will be surprised of the name he carries with him. The only string is that if he builds the building, he wants his name brand on it also. Will keep you posted.

Hey Danny-

I am starting up a new registry, should be in full "swing" by June.

$5 registration fees for all beagles, $5 entry fees. There are some homeless people here by my business that live under the bridge that sell watches and stuff for some cash (Stolen I am sure). Two of them have agreed to donate a couple nice Folex watches for the Open class on the field and bench winners for the first hunt. But I will have to sign off of course as we expand if any clubs ever want to give anything of monetary value away in the future.....

The entire organization is going to be based on spending as little as humanly possible to trial beagles. There will be no trophies, no plaques, just some certificates that I am going to run off my copier at the shop (wont be much ink on them, they will just say 1ST PLACE). Of course when I say spending as little as possible, I mean giving back nearly nothing to the people that are laboring to promote the sport and the organization. We of course will bleed it dry and hoard all of the money.

Start spreadin the word.....I want to have this thing taking off asap.

We are going to have a very unique scoring system. If your dog can open on a track and doesnt do too much stuff like backtracking, running off game etc. we are going to go ahead and promote it to Champion Class right away so we can have 2 classes the second hunt.

It should be really fun. Buddy judging is a must....everyone cast will ensure that the judge has a buddy in the cast and I am sure everyone will know which dog will come back as the winner

We will just kinda make the rules up as we go, and of course if someone doesnt like the rules we will just change them mid stride to make the hound owner happy. But then we will change them back when they arent paying attention to it anymore....

Wait.......nevermind. i think this organization actually exists already......

Oh well, we can steal their entries away from the lower $ entry fees and registrations.

I wasnt going to be big into the show part of this but, I have a sponsor who is big into showing dogs and he thinks we ought to pursue that also, and if he sponsor's what he says, he will put the westminster show to shame.
He is wanting the take all the grand show champions for the first year and give them a 1,000 apiece for becoming grand show champions, then have a head to head competition for the world show in that class and pay the winner 10,000, and this dogs way will be payed to all the big 5 hunts the whole next year until he is dethroned.
Im not big into show dogs but would that be worth it

Hooked on Phonics worked for me, back to the new format, why all the hate and discontent with me starting a new format, I am trying to put more money back in the beaglers hands, would you rather have a plastic trophy than money, I guess I am lost on what you guys want.
