Dog food $

Just curious if anyones seeing a drastic rise in the price of dog food. most everything around heres went up anywhere between $2 to $4 more a bag. gets much higher may have to start cutting hounds.

i use purina hi-pro went up almost 2.00 a bag couple weeks ago 18.52 for 50#. dog chow stayed the same 16.90 50#.

Just bought a bag of Diamond green back (because I can't get ahold of any Black Gold right now). It went up yesterday. Thursday I could have bought 50lbs for $20.00, Friday I paid $24. I might as well go back to feeding Iams. Diamond's "ok", but it's not $24 worth of ok.

I'm paying $21 for a 50 pound bag of Black Gold.

I only have 2 hounds to feed and it lasts 5 months!

I just don't think you can beat Black Gold. Looks like I may have a couple of leads to get some -- I just need to slot the time to do so into a 55-hour work week, lol. Makes ya wonder why I feed them at all, I don't have much time to run them.

$18.50 for 50lbs. of Black Gold in the black bag. Been using it for about 2 months now and love it.

HOLLY COW stopped by after work to pick up food and they raised it to 18.99 a bag $ 5.00 in one week CRAZY

My feed went from 16.80 a bag to 20.50!!!

Talk about chapping my hide (or pocket book)!!

I couldn't imagine being someone with 15 to 20 dogs to feed!

its crazy i had a dogfood rep tell me the big reason is the price of corn going up due to a drought last summer and predictions of another this summer. all i know is i love my dogs but dang man between them and all my livestock its getting tough like somone else said everythings goind up but the wages. poor farm boy don't stand a chance.

yep...shelled corn is 8.45 a bag now at CO-OP but ive got ur anwser on why it jumped so high so quick-----They passed the bill so they can make gas to burn in ur cars out of corn so anything with corn in it will be going up higher and higher more they make of this stuff and they did this to take so much presure off the need for oil

So just cause one bag of dog feed hasnt went up doesnt mean it isnt getting ready to any day now

IFEED MY GOATS WHOLE CORN BEEN PAYING 13.00 A 100# HASN'T RAISED ALL WINTER THAT I RECALL
I BELIEVE IT WENT UP BECASE THEY STARTED PUTTING HI PRO IN A NEW BAW OTHER THAN THE PAPER ONES
