Yes sir, I pulled the tick off right where the big scab is located. Everone on the other board is thinking its were I had the collar. I took the collar off and hoping that is the problem.

How long did you leave the color on after you removed the tick ?
Id leave the color off period untill new hair comes back.
It looks like a Hot spot caused from the color and tick.
You might try some Bag Balm too, thats good stuff.
Good Luck !

The pup more than likely has been Scratching Due to the bite and the collar irritating it..
I Am Sure yall have been bitten and know how bad it itches....
Clean the area real good with some warm soapy water and dry it good...
keep the collar off and try a bynadryl and Nu-stock thatll cure it!!!!!
From Field to Show and Show to Field the way it should be

I have used this for years for all kinds of skin problems on dogs. Apply 1% Hydrocortisone cream for three or four days in a row. Leave the collar off until healed. This is the same cream we humans use for insect bites, and many skin rashes. You can pick it up at Wal-mart or any drug store. Generic brand works just as well. Hope this helps.
