i asked Gill Davis to make a cross between lil bear(lprch grbch)to morning dancer.and he did in 2000.i took a male pup.my intention was to run him in little pack,but got out of field trialing & just hunted my pup.he was outstanding.my brother took him & hunted him.i just got him back last week.yes,after 6 years(brother really liked him alot)only beagle he ever had that could catch a rabbit.i was thinking about studding him.is there still interest in the boldstroke line?Bear is a littermate to Jimmy D.and Dancer is a littermate to Morning Star.this is some of the older breeding.
i field trialed the following dogs in arha
boldstrokes lil peggy
boldstrokes reba
boldstrokes morning star (lp rch)
boldstrokes buffalo bill (lp rch)
boldstrokes rambilin willie (arha win)
boldstrokes trudy (buffalo bill's dam)
boldstrokes daisy duck (i am her breeder)
blues creek lil lady lprch(lil bear is her sire)

I ran with gill back in the late 80s.Ran several of his dogs for quite a while.As far as i know all of his dogs are akc, cant swear to it.

jimbo i belive gill got into a squabble with AKC a few years back n he quit using them i pretty shure i read that somewhere might have been on here
