flea and tick for puppies

Post by Kevin Dowell »

What do you guys use to control fleas and ticks on puppies?

The more people I meet, the more I love my dogs!

Frontline is what I use. I buy the ones for bigger dogs and use it on my dogs and pups. It is alot cheaper that way. Check out this post:

People here are getting 7dust in lg. bag in granual form for the yard , at walmart, and put it on like fertilizer ;).... and adams and frontline for the dog. Oh....and adams flea and tick "mist" is for animals 12 weeks or older.

Depending on the age of your pups , the frontline spray is the way to go. more bang for your buck :!:

The blood suckers don't like the Ivomec, never had fleas round the kennel, one time got them up at the barn, dusted with malathion I think it was. Mangy critters coming in eating left out dog food carrying fleas is the problem, at the barn it was critters bedding in the hay and getting in the feed bin most likely... I dip hounds with Paramite dip when needed.

Don't know. There was a fellow west of me that made animal cages over by Princeton, he had 6 bottles, I bought them all as they were low priced and hard to come by... ;)
