I judge in LP, and I have NEVER cheated for a buddy, or vice versa. I'm so sick of people saying they got cheated, because they heard their dog get 3 checks, but were onlt scored 1 or 2. You can only score what you can see, and since none of us can fly we aren't going to get to every break down. I bust my ass through all kinds of terrain to get to everything, and be as fair as possible. I also let everyone know when I'm reading off score if I couldn't get to a check, and I appologize to the whole cast. The only people I see complaining at hunts, are the same ones over and over whether they win or lose, and 90% of the time it is someone who has never judged a single cast. I'm from sw michigan and I feel like we have some super judging here, and everyone respects everyone. Guys that constantly complain of being cheated need to stay home, or quit crying and get their judges license.TenneseeTwister wrote:For those that think there is no cheating in the ARHA, OPEN YOU'RE.
Either you cheat or get cheated, and most of the time both, THAT'S THE ARHA WAY
I bet there ain't a judge out there in little pack that has not cheated for a buddy, or cheated against an enemy.
You don't don't have to bash others in order to make your or your format look good. A positive approach is always best if possible, hubertsoutlaw wrote:Hatfield, I answered a question. It is not about like or dislike of a person. I didn't say one thing that wasn't the truth. If nkc or akc people can't handle my opinion they don't have to like me. That is thier right! I didn't put the post, I answered it as honestly as possible. Since you are the critic, where did I lie.![]()
PS I love the AKC format and if more of AKC members would unite like the arha people do, we would bring alot of people. I don't crawl under rocks or stick my head in the sand. Not for you or anyone else.
JEREMY!
Jeremy, I dont see any brown nosing in hatfields post.Maybe you should re-read yours.hubertsoutlaw wrote:I use to love ARHA back in 2002, and 2003. I think every thing for ME went down hill from there. I like some of the rules still. The off game rules are great. The jumping a rabbit is great. I don't disagree totally about measuing dogs, but it really don't make me any difference. I run against anything. There are some great rules that I wish I ran under. It is not about following judges around that makes akc great. It would be hard to follow a judge because of the few trials there are. The style of dog is what is so impressive. The line control, the tight check, the long drives, and some dogs with outstanding foot that can really do it right. It isn't always that way, but for the most part, it is. The dogs having to jump or run a rabbit to win. More than one hound coming back from a pack. If you have ever watched a winners pack in the mid-west, you don't know what you are missing. THE JUDGES. I don't believe I have ever been cheated in AKC since I have ran. I have thought I may have done better in a few packs, but I have not been cheated. That is why this format is awesome. If you look at the FIELD CHAMPIONS that have come from this fromat, they are great. Sorry for getting off the subject though. JEREMY
