whats the fastest hound you have owned personally

i think that i have the fastest dog in the country bring them fast hounds out and lets run. i am curiours on how fast mine is i can run any time let me know

I guess the fastest I ever owned was a grade female by the name of Tilley. I got her when I was about 13 years old. She was a 15" open marked tri. I'll try to get a picture on here soon. She was lightning fast, with a huge squall mouth, when she claimed the track, you better flip the safety off on your gun.

I've got a let er Rip and Sable cross that can get the job done. She will cheat some but can really take off when she has the track. She isn't going anywhere.

the fastest dog ive personally ever owned was an old dog named buddy he was half patch and some grade stuff the weve had around here for awhile. the best season i ever had with him he chased down and caught about 25 rabbits now his father was a way faster dog one season huntting him with his father we killed 165 rabbits and the dogs caught about 70 that year. thats the first time ive ever been offered more than a thousand dollars for a grade dog. still have some of that blood in my kennel now but i finally got some nkc papers on the so i could keep up with things a little better.

fastest dog i have ever owned,i still own,i sold him to john queen sr.,bluedog1,and bought him back a maonth ago,dutch hollow ky spirit is his name,he is super fast and super clean on the line............

second fastest was brushline dozer,he was super fast,but rough,but man he could fly.........

fastest hound i ever had was a 15'' gyp named J-N-L'S HAMMER-N-BELL,,,this hound could crank, she would get about 50 75 yards ahead of the pack and shut up,,,,,,but when the pressure was on she had a machine gun chop,,,,,,

The fastest dog I have ever owned was a patch hound. She could fly a rabbit. I had a guy from Southwest Missouri bring a lemon male dog up and run and that is the fastest dog I ever seen run a rabbit and hold the line. I forgot the mans name and wish I would of wrote it down so someday I could of got a pup from him. That dog was beyond fast. Maybe someone on this post has seen this dog run and knows the guys name. If so let me know his name.

The fastest hound I had owned through the years was Dinky Diablo. Judging and watching a lot of hounds run I had ranked him pretty high as far as speed. Then came Buster...He will be in Theaters this fall... Comming to a trial near you!

My experience with faster HOUNDS are without a dought Branko bread. I Have a Male that is out of Taylor's Sock It To Me and Mikermas Super Dog that is the best I have seen. I bread a female I have out of Maravic's Blue Ninja and Maravic's Blue Barry to him and the results has been GREAT for smokin a rabbits hide. The male I have for speed is Peercys Bring Em To Me Ozzy.

I had a male from Logan Elm Blue Rocky and AJ's Hunting Heidi.
He was too fast for my taste.
I never saw him get left out on race.
The bigger the running, the better he was.
The McGuires watched him run in a cast at 23 months old at the 2007 world hunt. They said he ran a lot like rocky.
I have never seen Rocky run, but I saw a lot of traits from the Dam's side.
Heidi was sired by Odells Turnback Joe. Joe was sired by Spicers Blueback.
Joe had exceptional speed, a big nose, and very smooth on a line. Joe and many of his pups have a big long bawl that you can their footsteps vibrating in when running.
The downside to Joe and many of his offspring was that the hunt was below what I consider average.

My male was electrocuted in a pond in May 2007.
I still miss him, even though he was too fast to rabbit hunt with.
There were many instances where he had caught rabbits in a straight run or field. Quite a few times we could not shoot because he was so close behind the rabbit. His speed put so much pressure on a rabbit, they would either hole or run out of their home area circle a while, then come back and hole. I would have loved to run him on hare, but he didn't live long enough. If he could get on a rabbit they would stay above ground, the race was exciting. Many times I could hear him pulling further and further ahead from the pack the longer the race went on.

Chief's speed is incredible! Line control fantastic. He floats and turns on a dime. I witnessed him make a 30 degree turn on a line without hesitation. He's a hoot!! KC

fastest i ever owned was Rhoades Royal Buck who was Blueback bred of course and one of the fastest i ever seen run was Sam Wells dog and im pretty sure it was Blade,the main thing I remember was he could fly but didnt bark a whole lot.Also Fareast luke The Drifter wouldnt let no grass grow under his feet.
