Beagles on the Web

Post by bluehound1 »

I would like to see everyones kennels and hounds they have. Maybe in a couple years I will put together a website for my kennel. If any of you guys or gals have a website please list it on this post so I can look at your hounds and kennel setup.

Thanks
Jeremy

Do a yahoo search on Jasons Beagles. He has links to a bunch of beagle websites on his site. That will save you some time.

 That's right! Hey have she showed you any mouth yet. Chop or Sqaull? Her mother has a good Squall mouth and her half sister chops.

She hasn't showed me any mouth on the rabbit but she gives plenty of it when I put her back in the pen. She got a real loud mouth on her. Shes got a chop mouth and you won't have any trouble hearing her when she's burning up a rabbit. ;) Remember the other pups we had with us when I picked my pup? She has the loudest mouth of the three. Hey hows your little blue male pup doing. Have you done anything with him on a rabbit yet? Keep me updated on how he is doing. Either put it on the forum or e-mail me it doesn't matter.
I got another question for you. The people who has posted a reply to my topic Perkins Kennel or from Danny Hart seem to love their pups. Everyone said that their pups were full of energy but they said they are hard headed and hard to handle when they were pups. I was wondering if the pups you bought off of them were like this. And if so did they settle down any? Do they handle better now? Holler at you later. One more thing how much does Danny sell his pups for? I think I might be interested in buying a redtick female out of Last Chance this coming fall or winter.

Streak the brother to you're female is doing good. I had been turning him loose on San Juans and he's definately got a nose but still to young to get real wired up about it. I have'nt got tot do anything with him for about a week. I broke one of my toes! Go ahead and laugh all my buddy' have  . But I'll tell you one thing you aint gonna have a good time trying to catch a pup with a broken toe. As for the Hank's JoJo Blue pups they are full of it for sure and they are hard headed but only when it comes to a rabbit. I can let my young male out of the pen and he goes to hunting just as soon as he's out the door. He's 7 months old and he aint listening to me at all when he smells rabbit, but he's still young and that will come over time. I have a buck San Juan that has had a lot of teeth sunk in him and I have kept him alive just for that reason he get's harder and harder to catch every time, but not for Hammer. He will put his nose to the ground and take care of buisiness but when that buck makes a circle back to the yard and comes out in the open it's all over. He gets so tore up over a rabbit that when you get you're hands on him you better let him know who you are. If you have ever smacked a coon dog on the belly when it was on the tree you can relate. I can't wait till to start running him on wild rabbits when season is over with. I'm going to solo him some before I put him in with the dogs. If you want a redtick male you should book a pup with Danny out of Rebel and Penny. I've only met him once when I picked Hammer up at 5 weeks old. I've herd good and bad things about him but you know how that goes everybody has an opinion. Bottom line - He's got some fine rabbit hounds and bred with the best. Take care.
