Congrads to all I had a Blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The running was definately off at this hunt in my three 1st round casts you could put them all together and not have 1 hour of running.
I judged 3 rounds and you could put that all together and have maybe an hour of good running.

CONGRATS TO ALL THE WINNERS AND THOSE WHO PLACED!

BIG CONGRATS TO MY BUDDY "HDB HANDLER OF THE YEAR" MIKE THOMAS AND SHADOW FOR GETTING FIFTH IN THE OPENS AND MAKING CHAMPION!

HAD A REAL GOOD TIME, BUT WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE HAD A LITTLE MORE RUNNING. MY CHAMPION DOG'S CAST DIDN'T FIND A RABBIT AND WENT ON HUNTING AND HANDLING. :( DRAWED OUT AGAINST BLUE BOY AND WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SEEN ABOUT AN HOUR'S WORTH OF RUNNING!

Mr. Wilson is a good dog. I had the pleasure of judging this hound once at our club in Saltville, and was amazed. Good line and good speed.

mr.wilson is not going to measure over if thats what your tring to say look at the facts. 1 akc large pack win were every hound is measured.akc spo places were the winners pack is measured.two big five wins ,a state win, second place state hunt,he is 15"

I understand he's a fine hound and can really boogie, he's lucky to have such a nice dog that "wont measure out" for one reason or another. It really doesn't matter now, he's accomplished about all you can ask for, in ARHA anyway. I'm in the market for a dog that I can ride to the truck when I'm done hunting. :D

Why not just congratulate someone on their success or don't comment at all.

Because I guess I'm still not comfortable with the fact that people are running dogs that are over 15". No matter how you look at it, if your dog is oversize and you are running him in competition you are violating the rules. If you somehow train dogs to cower under the stand so it "squats" lower than 15", again........you are cheating. So I'm sorry for those of you that are disagreeing with what I am saying. I never have dogs measured in casts because I think it is the responsibility of the "sportsman" to make the call and not put fellow houndsmen in the awkward position to look like the bad guy. I've seen guys running 16" dogs complain about a judge not making certain calls, what the hell?! I will not apologize for trying to follow rules.

Kennell Cleaner,

if size bothers you so much, ask for the dog to be measured, otherwise give it up.

You already look like the bad guy by complaining on here the way you are!!!!!!!!!
