Yote run with the Patch Hounds

We run yotes today with the Patch Hounds, The dark male did not run long. The lighter colored female gave the dogs a good three hour run.Enjoy the pics.

The guys in the pic left to right are my good friends Tom Launstein, Josh Eimiller,and Dick Fernberg.

theres alot of land here in tuscola county i can get you on if you take me with you i have lots of spots with yotes and fox

is that your rabbit/hare hounds also or do you have some for yote and some for rabbit/hare

mjd, These hounds are just used for coyote. I use different hounds for rabbit/hare. It's easier that way.

Hey Danny I heard you were having problems with yotes up there. I talked to Gary Monday night and will get up there as soon as I can to call them in for you guys to shoot at. Just a little busy right now with the wrestling thing. Hopefully Sat night will work out for us all. I'll call Gary and set it up.

It still amazes me that you run coyotes with beagles. I think I asked this before, but, do they ever fight the yote?

Yes they do. The dogs hate yotes, as you can see in the pics, even after the yote is dead they still want to tear into them. We have to leash the hounds to get them away from the yotes.

Patch, The bottom hound is full littermate to Tom's two males. He's my dog, his name is Rusty.
