Teaching "Here"

Post by Hare Hawk »

I have a 9 month old pup that is doing well running rabbits. I have been working on getting her to come when called and I know that she knows what it means because when I have a 50 ft check cord on her she comes like its her job. In the field she comes some of the time but every now and then she will look at me and then head the other way. I know she is a puppy and that beagles are stubborn by nature but I have had several 9 month old labs that will do a hell of a lot more when it comes to obedience. I'm not looking for her to respond in a way that I expect a bird dog too but if you guys have any tricks that have worked for you let me know. Thanks.

Get yourself an E-Collar and learn how to use it properly. Should correct her problem.
