We got to the farm early morning. It is a 90ac farm with beans on one side and corn on the other that has already been harvested. In the middle is a thick wood strip about a 1/4 mile or so long. That is where all the rabbits live. It is just perfect for rabbits. Tall grass briars fallen over trees creeks running thru it. Just the perfect place for rabbits.
Jumped 30+ All 3 of us got our limits. I got mine by 10am. I was the dog handler and rabbit spotter the rest of the hunt. The dogs sure did put on a show for us. They were jumping them two at a time. NO JOKE!!! Mickey really had a good time and wants me to go to a couple other farms that has just as many rabbits. This was mickey's first rabbit hunt of the season he had some health issues. He had a big smile on his face at the end of the hunt. We gave the farmer some rabbits Mickey gave a few to his Pastor and church members. I'm glad I met Mickey. He has noone to hunt with or any bealges. We have a few hunts planed for later this month.

Saturday hunt was back at Michael's farm. We got an early start. Boy was it COLD!!! I teamed up with my buddy Mike aka (Done Gone Beagles) and had a total of 5 Dogs on the ground. I brought two of mine and he brought 3 of his. We managed to jump 15 rabbits on this hunt and took out 10. One not shown in the picture was taken by Greg a friend of Michaels. He hunted with us for a little bit and got one kill. Corey also joined us for the hunt towards the end. It was nice meeting you Corey wish you could have killed the one rabbit near the brush Pile.
I told Michael the goal for the hunt was 10 rabbits and we were able to do it. Thanks for having us at the farm again. It was a blast and we had fun. - Joey

I was a little tired it was cold outside. I got up late looked at the clock it was 7:30. I said to myself well what should I do....Then I said what am I crazy I have a free day to hunt come on lets go. I loaded up the dog headed out the door in the freezing cold. Went to a local CA droped the dogs on the ground about 9am. Hunted a 5-8 ac patch of briars for 2 hours jumped 5 and killed 4 of them while it was snowing hard. I about froze in those two hours and was getting covered in snow. It was a nice short hunt I had fun.
